HISTORY was made in the Presentation Arts Centre in Enniscorthy during the festive season when it provided the venue for Wexford Pride’s first ever Christmas Market.
The event was a fantastic success and attracted a large crowd of visitors throughout the day. The range crafts and items on display was very varied and provided an ideal opportunity to pick up a special Christmas gift for those closest to them.
A spokesperson for the organisers highlighted that the festive season can be a challenging time for members of the LGBQTIA+ community and the Christmas market was an ideal chance for everyone in the locality to join together and support some of the finest craftworkers in the county.
The work displayed represented around 17 different artists and creatives and the range of items included everything from crafts and baked treats to crochet pieces and face-painting.
The market afforded local people an opportunity to support local craftworkers and the atmosphere on the day perfectly captured the spirit of Christmas.
