Wexford Pride AGM
The Annual General Meeting takes place in November of each year. It provides an opportunity for the community to gather together to reflect on the previous year, approve amendments to the constitution and to elect a new committee for 2024-25.
The AGM will take place via Google Meet, the meeting link will be made available through the Wexford Pride website or by contacting wexfordpride@gmail.com.
Since 2018, Wexford Pride has grown from a small community picnic to a countywide community-led organisation supporting the LGBTQIA+ community beyond our annual Pride in The Park celebration and extending to over 100+ community events, groups, peer support spaces to support, uplift and empower LGBTQIA+ people on a local and national level. This has been reflected over the past year in greater ownership across our community spaces with many members taking on leadership roles and contributing their time, passion and creativity further enriching our incredible community through events including our LGBTQIA+ Community Symposium (July), Pride Goes to Prom (Oct), our Peer Support spaces and creative projects including Queer Chorus and Aiteach our bi-monthly queer culture zine.
The AGM provides an important space for community members to come together to collectively shape the direction of Wexford Pride - your voice matters!

Accessibility and Inclusion
We are committed to ensuring our events and spaces are inclusive, safe and accessible to all corners of our community including those who are neurodivergent, disabled or members of the BIPOC, Traveller or Roma communities. We are conscious that many LGBTQIA+ spaces are not accessible to or representatives of those most marginalized within our community due to ignorance, prejudice, internalized -phobias or racism. We are committed to continuously working to challenge, deconstruct and learn to better inform our spaces and ensure they are reflective of the diversity within our community and that includes encouraging and supporting members from these groups to be represented and included in our decision-making, organising and committee structures.
