Pride Goes To Prom FAQ

  • 4:00pm–6:00pm Makeup station (with assistance)

    7:00pm Arrival time!

    7:00pm–8:00pm Photo booth

    8:00pm–12:30am DJ and dancing

    8:30pm–9:30pm Buffet

    10:30pm - Spot prizes

    11:00pm - Pride Goes to Prom Monarch crowning

    1:00am - Minibus back to Wexford town (door to door, €6 per person, please RSVP for this service)

  • There will be a live DJ from 8pm - 12.30am. There will be breaks in the music for the awarding of prizes and crowning. If you feel overwhelmed or need a sensory break there will be a quiet space away from the main area equipped with noise cancelling headphones. If you need assistance at any point, reach out to a volunteer on the evening and they will be happy to help!

  • es, there will be tables and chairs around the perimeter of the dance floor. Chairs in the main hall are standard banquet chairs, however the quiet room will have armchairs, couches, and kitchen-style chairs. If you require a different chair please reach out.

  • Everything from the front door to the dance hall and bathrooms is on one level and fully accessible with wide double doors and large turning radius. There is an elevator to the rooms on the above floors.

  • Yes! The dance floor is very open and spacious!

  • Please communicate any dietary restrictions when purchasing your ticket. We cannot guarantee the venue will be able to accommodate last minute dietary requests. Food will be 'buffet' style and will be clearly marked. If you have a severe allergy you will be accommodated individually, so do let us know in good time.

  • There are no rules for the dress code. Please come in whatever you feel most comfortable coming in! The theme of Forest Fantasy is for the decor, so please do not feel like you have to dress on theme.

  • There will be a photobooth with a backdrop and a professional photographer from 8pm-9pm.

    This is optional, you do not have to have your photo taken if you do not wish to. Photos will be distributed back to you after the event.

    The backdrop will remain for personal photos throughout the night!

  • There will be a quiet space adjacent to the main hall for sensory breaks for anyone who needs one. It will have comfortable furniture with access to stim aids and ear defenders.

  • There will be a mini-bus departing at 1.30AM from the hotel to Wexford Town (€6 per person). To avail of this please contact wexfordpride1@gmail.com to reserve your spot.
